We want you to love living at Colina Square if you move in.

We think you deserve to have all the numbers, facts and important policies before you apply:

  1. $25 per application fee.  Every adult over 18 must be screened.  Please see criteria before applying.
  2. $125 per apartment for water, sewer, garbage, recycling and food waste/compost (first 4,000 gallons of water per month included).
  3. $750 deposit and $250 move in fee per apartment.
  4. A covered or assigned parking spot is included with your rent.  Guest parking is generally easy – really!
  5. Residents must have renters insurance and provide proof of such.  If you do not have renters insurance you agree to pay $10.50 for a liability only policy, offered through Appfolio.
  6. Residents pay PSE for gas (heat, hot water, and fireplace) and electricity (mostly lights and appliances).  Resident pays for their own internet, cable and phone (Comcast is one choice).  Traditionally the radiant gas heat with electric forced air system have helped Colina residents keep electric and gas bills SIGNIFICANTLY lower than other nearby communities.  We rated a 93% on a recent energy evaluation.  Based on a report by PSE our average electric / gas bill was $62 in the summer and $106 in the winter.  This is the average; so half our residents will have a lower bill and half will have a larger bill.  Your bill depends on your usage.
  7. Pet Policy – Colina Square is not exactly pet friendly – maybe better described as pet tolerant.  We are very strict at enforcing the pet policies. $200 non refundable fee per apartment.  $500 deposit per pet.  2 pets maximum per home.  Cats must be indoor only.  Dogs must be on a leash at all times and must be walked off property to use the bathroom.  There are several grass areas right near the community entrance.  It’s OK if a dog barks once or twice when someone knocks, but continous barking is not allowed.  Colina Square may not be the ideal location for some pet owners, please consider carefully before applying.
  8. Colina Square is a completely non-smoking (any substances) property and has been for at least 10 years.  There is no smoking allowed anywhere on the property.  Your household members and your guests may not smoke in the condominium, on the deck, or anywhere on the grounds of Colina.

TO HOLD AN APARTMENT:

We rent on a first come first served basis to people who meet our rental criteria.  To hold an apartment:

  1. ALL adults over 18 must have submitted a fully complete application.
  2. You sign and return the holding reservation agreement or lease.
  3. You must pay a $1,000 holding fee.  Upon move in, this fee will be applied to your non-refundable fee and security deposit.  Should you choose not to move in to the apartment you are holding, this money will not be refunded.
